Skype 5.0 for Mac OS released

SkypeAfter a long period of testing the final version of Skype 5.0 for Mac OS X has been released. Apple computers users can now enjoy business video conferencing which was previously introduced in the version for Windows. Unfortunately, this feature is a part of the Premium package for which you have to pay.

iOS 4.1 for download on Wednesday

AppleThe new version of the iOS that was presented at Wednesday's conference in San Francisco, will be available for download on Wednesday 8th of September.

The bug fix version 4.1 will be available for the iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, iPod and iPod Touch. The main novelty in the iOS 4.1 is primarily the improvement of the productivity of older iPhone 3G, the introduction of Game Center, HDF photos, the ability to rent movies for 99 cents from the U.S. iTunes Store and sending the recorded videos in HD through WiFi (iPhone 4).

Apple has purchsed Lala

appleApple has purchased Lala - a service offering streaming music.

Although Apple's representative confirmed that the corporation bought the Lala website, he did not disclose the details and purpose of the transaction. Unofficially, it is said that Lala is extremely valuable to Apple because of the developed model of music sales, in which the resources available in "steaming" technology are often cheaper than traditional tracks in the form of mp3 files. Currently it is unknown whether the company will introduce the streaming music into the iTunes store.
