Today, Microsoft ended the basic support for Windows XP and Office 2003.
Form now on, only security vulnerabilities will be patched in these products. Functionality patches will only be available to those customers who purchased the extended support which will be available until 8th of April 2014. Security patches will be released till 4th of August 2014. The exception is Windows XP Embedded, for which the period of the basic support is ongoing.
