The end of the Yahoo Messenger for Windows Vista
Yahoo has informed about giving up the development of a special version of its Communicator Yahoo Messenger for Windows Vista. The version was once very popular - one of the first applications that use the full capabilities of the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) - a built-in platform for developers to handle the user interface, in order to obtain rich graphical effects. Yahoo! says that the priority is to provide equally good version of Communicator in any system. In practice, however, the most likely factor was the low popularity of Yahoo Messenger for Vista.
