Microsoft has released a SDK for application development for Facebook. Applications can be created by using Silverlight and Windows Presentation Foundation.

It is not a surprise that Microsoft is already working on Windows 8 and planning new features for Windows 9. Interestingly, Microsoft is considering the introduction of support for 128-bit architecture in the next versions of Windows.

Microsoft has published another Windows 7 advertisement, which seems to be aimed at younger users.

The movie features a little girl, who is reading different and obviously positive reviews of Windows 7. She decides to make a presentation about Windows 7. She puts on slides unicorns, bunnies and kitties:) Maybe Microsoft wants children to convince their parents to buy Windows 7 if the training courses do not succeed.

Microsoft has prepared a training course for computer retailers. As we read on the first slide, after completing this course, the vendor will be able to explain why it is better to buy a new computer with pre-installed Windows 7 instead of Linux.

The Federal Court of Appeal took into account Microsoft's arguments and accepted the request for suspension of the ban on the sale of Word. This does not mean that the problem is solved, but Microsoft will still be allowed to sell its office software in the U.S. until the final decisions. The next hearing will be held on September 23.
