Ubuntu One for Windows

ubuntuCanonical has released the final version of Ubuntu One client for Windows.

Ubuntu One is a platform for storing and synchronizing files in the computing cloud. The service offers 5 GB of disk space and allows you to synchronize files, contacts, notes and bookmarks between several computers. Users also have access to the Ubuntu One Music Store. After using all the available space it is possible to buy another 20 GB for 30 dollars a year.

Older readers can go back in time and recall the era of the first version of Windows as well as the transition to the era of computer media marked with the release of Windows 95.

rocketdockCan Windows be really nice – this is a problem that Windows users have been facing for a number of years. Even the old Windows 98 could boast of modifications that changed its appearance. Users wanted to break away from the gray windows, blue stripes and inanimate pulpit with several icons. Today, when we already have sophisticated Windows 7 and Mac OS X Snow Leopard, the owners of older systems feel even more pressure to make their systems look nice.

Windows desktop you have never seen

bumptopWindows desktop. Millions of PCs users can see it every day. However, the destop has not changed much for more than twenty years. The icons have become more colorful, larger workspace, there is also background image... However, the philosophy of working with the desktop has been basically the same since the first graphical user environment.
