New Windows 7 Application Compatibility List
Microsoft has published a list of applications that are officially compatible with Windows 7.
Windows 7 Application Compatibility List is an Excel sheet which groups all programs that were verified by Microsoft and granted a certificate of compliance with Windows 7.
Windows 7 on Apple computers
Apple announced that by the end this year many Mac computers and laptops based on Intel processors should get the possibility to install Windows 7. The new version of the Boot Camp software (designed to install Windows on Macs) will make it possible to install Windows 7 on all machines running Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Windows 7 for children :)
Microsoft has published another Windows 7 advertisement, which seems to be aimed at younger users.
The movie features a little girl, who is reading different and obviously positive reviews of Windows 7. She decides to make a presentation about Windows 7. She puts on slides unicorns, bunnies and kitties:) Maybe Microsoft wants children to convince their parents to buy Windows 7 if the training courses do not succeed.
Windows 7 cheaper in UK than in the U.S.
Residents of the United Kingdom will have the possibility to buy Windows 7 at a price almost two times lower than in the U.S.
In the UK, the full version of Windows 7 Home Premium will cost about 64 pounds. This is less than the price of the upgrade version in the U.S. $ 120 (£ 72), and slightly more than half the price that one must pay in the U.S. for the full version $ 200 (£ 122).
Windows 7 in MSDN AA
Microsoft announced that Windows 7 will be released on August 6 to the MSDN AA program. On August 15, Windows 7 will be available on ELMS.
The information has been published on the official Imagine Cup site on the Facebook. More specifically, it says that Windows 7 will be released to the MSDN AA on August 6.
