Twelve new file formats have been implemented in the Google Docs service.

Document viewer that is built into Google Docs has got the ability to browse images stored in Adobe Photoshop (.pds) and Illustrator (.ai) formats. It is now possible to open models saved by AutoCAD in the .dxf format.

Google informs that it will soon be possible to upload and store any files in Google Docs.

So far, it has been only possible to store files that can be converted into files than can be edited by the online office suite (text documents, spreadsheets and presentations).
