WinRar 3.91 with support for 7-zip

winrarThe new version of WinRAR 3.91 has been released. The program is used to compress and archive files.

The new version of the program is not a major update. It has only a few changes, most of them fix the detected bugs. Without a doubt the most important new feature is the introduction of the new compression format 7-zip. The detailed list of changes can be found on the official website of the program.

The RarLab company has released the final version of its flagship program WinRAR 3.90 for creating archive files.

The latest version contains a number of improvements. Undoubtedly, the most important one is the implementation of support for 64-bit technology. Therefore, those who use 64-bit version of Windows should upgrade the their program because the current version provides better efficiency and integration with the operating system.
