New VirusBarrier X6 released

Intego studio has released the latest version of an antivirus for computers with Apple's trademark. VirusBarrier X6 is designed to protect Macs not only against viruses but also against harmful software and network based attacks.

Since the release of Snow Leopard in September 2009, no security software updates have been released by Apple. According to analysts, despite the negligible quantities of dangerous programs, Macs are increasingly exposed to cyber attacks. The solution may be, for example, the new X6 VirusBarrier.

VirusBarrier X6 is an antivirus for Mac OS X system protecting against viruses and preventing the access to the computer by unauthorized people. The application also includes a firewall and anti-phishing security features. The latest version includes more than 100 patches. VirusBarrier protects the system against viruses created on Mac OS X and Unix or Windows. Intego application costs 60 euros (for two computers) or 85 euros (family package - 5 PCs).
