Storing any files in Google Docs
Google informs that it will soon be possible to upload and store any files in Google Docs.
So far, it has been only possible to store files that can be converted into files than can be edited by the online office suite (text documents, spreadsheets and presentations).
Now, the disk space in a cloud can be used as a virtual disk for storing your files (e.g. photos, videos, etc.). The maximum size is 250MB per file, each user has 1GB of free space. For an additional fee you can increase the size of available disk space.
Google's new solutions are to encourage members to make greater use of Google Docs. Recently the Mountain View giant has made available the function of shared directories which in combination with the possibility of storing any files become an excellent tool for group work.
