Skype on TV screen

Skype will soon be available on selected LG and Panasonic TV sets.

As Skype informs, within a few months there will be available a special version of the client, which the owners of LG and Panasonic TV sets will be able to download and run on their devices. Those wishing to make use of the technology will need to obtain a special dedicated HD camcorder equipped with a microphone to allow talking on the phone without the need to approach the screen. Skype recommends that TV sets should be connected to the internet with the minimum bandwidth of 1 Mb/s.
