New user interface design in Firefox
Stephen Horlander, who works at the Mozilla Corporation as a Visual Designer, presented a few new conceptual user interface projects which can be implemented in the upcoming version of Firefox for Windows.
Submitted proposals are characterized by a high degree of transparency and simplicity, and at the same time are very attractive visually. With the abandonment of the traditional menu and replacing it with the title bar button "Firefox" creators managed to save a lot of space. An important change is the moving the cards to the top of the user interface and making them a key element in the browser. The new GUI also provides a place for the search bar, bookmarks and buttons used for navigation. The whole user interface is enriched by attractive transparency effects available in the latest versions of Windows.
Presented projects make a further step in building an interface for future releases of Firefox. The last time Mozilla has presented its ideas on the GUI was July this year. It is easy to note that today's proposals are build on these ideas.
