Best programs

The next version 4.7 of Parted Magic has been released. Parted Magic is a small Linux distribution equipped with a comprehensive set of tools for managing partitions.

Parted Magic 4.7 - like its previous versions – can be lunched from a bootable CD. Among the innovations introduced in this release we can find: Partclone 0.1.9 which replaces Clonezilla, SimpleBurn which is introduced in place of Xfburn and cdrtools which replaces libburnia. Firefox browser is replaced with Google Chrome Beta. Developers also improved support for Broadcom wireless networking cards and updated programs and scripts to their newest versions. The system is based on kernel 2.6.32.2.
