Google Labs has released another interesting service - this time associated with searching for images. Google Image Swirl is a service currently at the experimental stage but the results are already impressive.

Image Swirl can substantially change the way users search images in Google's network.

Search results in are presented in the form of sets of thumbnails arranged thematically. Choosing one set of consecutive images generates a presentation of related topics. This allows users to intuitively narrow a search result.
