New Windows 7 Application Compatibility List

Microsoft has published a list of applications that are officially compatible with Windows 7.

Windows 7 Application Compatibility List is an Excel sheet which groups all programs that were verified by Microsoft and granted a certificate of compliance with Windows 7.

The list also contains programs identified as "compatible" (programs that run in Windows 7 but without official certificate), "required a free/paid update (one must install the upgrade for the application to run), "will be compatible" (the producer is working on the update) and "incompatible" (no plans for an update).

The list was created on the basis of data from the Windows 7 Compatibility Center where you can find the most current data about the hardware and applications compatible with the new Windows.
