YouTube will support Full HD soon
As we can read on the official YouTube blog, it will soon be possible to upload and watch videos in the Full HD 1080p resolution.
The support for Full HD movies will be available as early as the next week and is a response to the constantly growing popularity of digital cameras recording in 1080p resolution. YouTube has released both video file and screen-shots showing the possibilities of the new mode. It is worth noting that in order to use the full capabilities offered by the new standard, we must have high speed internet access and a computer with a minimum screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.
The addition of 1080p mode is the last step towards the full support for Full HD. It is worth recalling that the last big change took place last year, when users were given the possibility of uploading videos with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.
