Apple has released iMovie 8.0.5
Apple has released a new version of iMovie. The tool numbered 8.0.5 brings a new format for video files – iFrame. In addition, the program has a better support for several devices.
Among the less significant changes, we find improved importing process of video files from iPod or fixing a bug related to changing the size of the iMovie window during playback.
However, the most important novelty is the introduction of a new video format – iFrame. It was created by Apple in order to edit video files without loss of quality that may arise when converting to other formats. Interestingly, the iFrame format is based on such technologies as H.264 and ACC.
IMovie users can update their program on the official website.
