New bug in Mac OS removes account data
On the many forums we find more and more comments of users who have lost their data due to a bug in the Snow Leopard operating system. All those who have upgraded their system are at risk. As iTWire reports, many users of Apple's forums complain about the loss of an entire user account's data. The bug is related to the user profiles, namely intentional or accidental logging into your account for the guests. After logging back to the regular account it looks like on the first boot. Unfortunately, all previously saved data disappear permanently. As Neowin reports, only users who make backups on separate media can restore lost data.
