Windows 8 and 9 with support for 128-bit architecture?
It is not a surprise that Microsoft is already working on Windows 8 and planning new features for Windows 9. Interestingly, Microsoft is considering the introduction of support for 128-bit architecture in the next versions of Windows.
As Microsoft Kitchen reports, one of the Microsoft's engineers Robert Morgan published on his LinkedIn profile information that he is currently working on Windows kernel compatibility with the 128-bit architecture. According to his post, Microsoft cooperates with such manufacturers as Intel, AMD, HP and IBM.
