Apple released updates for Mac OS, iPhone and QuickTime
Apple has just released patches fixing more than 47 vulnerabilities in such products as Mac OS, iPhone and QuickTime. Some of the vulnerabilities allow attackers to take complete control over devices with unsafe software. Updates for Mac OS X fix bugs in Alias Manager, CarbonCore, ClamAV, ColorSync, CoreGraphics, and Adobe Flash.
Ten patches have been prepared for iPhone. One of them removes the possibility of blocking SMS messages. Four serious bugs have been repaired in QuickTime. One of them allowed to carry out an attack, when a user opens a specially crafted H.264 or MPEG-4 video file.
Apple's latest system – OS X Snow Leopard – has also been patched. Updates can be downloaded from support.apple.com or via Software Update.
