Best programs

In March, the Id Software released Quake Live game which runs in a web browser. So far, the game has only been available for Windows. Now, the game has been released for both Mac OS X and Linux.

This information has been disclosed during the QuakeCon 2009. To play the Quake Live, a player must install a special plug-in which has so far been available only for Windows.

Now, the plug-in is also available for other operating systems. Quake Live is funded primarily from advertising, and all revenue will be spent on the maintenance of servers.
