Write a program for Windows 7 and win the prize

A new contest organized by Microsoft has just been started. Code7 Contest aims to promote creators of innovative and useful applications dedicated to Windows 7. The main prize is 17,777 USD.

You can submit your programs through Code7Contest.com until October 10th. One participant can send as many as three programs, provided that each of them is unique. The competition is open to students, professionals and technology enthusiasts. A nasty message is waiting for those from countries and provinces are not in good relations with the United States (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Qubec) - they are not allowed to take part in the contest.

The competition is divided into regions. The competition will take place between all participants and only among users of a given region. All applications submitted to the contest must work natively under Windows 7. It is, therefore, necessary to use Microsoft's API and frameworks such as: Win32, WPF, MFC or Windows Forms. The program must also use libraries, technologies and functionality of Windows 7 such as: Windows Touch, shell integration, DirectX 11 and Windows Sensor and Location.
