Firefox for companies

One of the reason for high popularity of Internet Explorer in large companiesis is its ease of customization, management and implementation in a corporate environment. These tasks are facilitated by using Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK). So far, Firefox has not offered similar possibilities but Mozilla has decided to change that.

To this end, the Build Your Own Browser project has been created. Its goal is to help companies to create their own Firefox installer, which should allow easy implementation on workstations. Mozilla will launch a special web application which will help to create the customized installer. The project is likely to be launched after the Firefox 3.5 release, which is expected to take place at the end of June.
