Best programs

Today, the beta version of Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) has been released. The official premiere is expected on 23th April.

Compared with the previous test version (Alpha 6), beta does not add any new features. Since the end of February, the project has had frozen functionality, and since 5th March – UI has also been frozen. Now, bugs are being fixed.

On 16th April, the candidate version is expected and if all goes as planned, a week later, the final stable version will be released.
