Fennec beta 1

The Mozilla Foundation has released the first beta version of the mobile web browser - Fennec. Firefox Mobile was released only for the OS2008 (Maemo). As usually, compilations for desktop systems (Windows, Linux and Mac OS X) are also available, so that you can test the applications on a PC.

The browser uses the entire screen area to display a web site. In the current release, Fennec is equipped with a new engine (TraceMonkey), whose job is to execute JavaScript code. It is also worth to mention that Fennec supports plug-ins.
