Recently, a new version of the Smart Image Denoiser has been released. The program can be used to reduce digital noise that can be seen in digital photos. For this purpose, a very advanced denoising method is implemented. Smart Image Denoiser can open image files in the most popular formats including .jpg, .bmp, .png and others. The program makes it possible to use both simple and advanced settings. When using advanced mode, it is possible to separately adjust settings for high, medium and low frequencies.

Ubuntu One for Windows

ubuntuCanonical has released the final version of Ubuntu One client for Windows.

Ubuntu One is a platform for storing and synchronizing files in the computing cloud. The service offers 5 GB of disk space and allows you to synchronize files, contacts, notes and bookmarks between several computers. Users also have access to the Ubuntu One Music Store. After using all the available space it is possible to buy another 20 GB for 30 dollars a year.

GTK+ 3.2 supports HTML 5

GTKA new version GTK + 3.2 has been released. The library can be used to create user interface in programs written in C++ on Linux systems. The new version brings support for HTML5 and the Wayland server.


A new Trojan for Android records calls

androidThere is a new Trojan that runs on Google's Android platform. A malicious application is able to record conversations and send them to a specified web address. Previous Trojans that were attacking Android had access to information about telephone calls only. The latest threat, according to CA Technologies, is able to record conversations. Saved connections are stored on your microSD card in AMR format. The recorded conversations can be sent by the Trojan to predetermined address.

NetBeans 7.0 released

NetBeansA new version of the NetBeans IDE 7.0 has been released. NetBeans is an IDE for the Java, C++, PHP programming languages. NetBeans is a free IDE which means that it can be used for both commercial and non-commercial development. To install and use the IDE, it is required to have the JDK (Java Development Kit) installed on your computer.
